NEW LEADERSHIP ON THE SCC BOARD.

Last Friday, May 27, we celebrated our 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Spanish Embassy in Pretoria. The meeting was presided by H.E. the Ambassador of Spain, Mr. Raimundo Robredo Rubio.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Marcos Pelegrin, Managing Director for Africa at LaLiga, as the new President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the Republic of South Africa. Furthermore, Mrs. Tshepo Ncube was again elected as Vice President of the Chamber and Mr. Ramiro Sebastiao accepted his appointment as Treasurer. Two new Directors were also appointed on the board: Mr. Mario Inchausti, Managing Director of Inventta, and Mr. Pedro Viudez, CEO of HABSBURG LIMITED.

We would like to thank all the members who attended the AGM in person and all those who were able to follow it online. Thanks to the Honorary Deputy President, Mr. Isaac Martín-Barbero for attending and co-hosting the AGM with Mrs. Tshepo Ncube.

After the AGM we enjoyed a great lunch at the Ambassador’s residence.
